Hot Hot Hot: A Spirit Room Valentine for Art Lovers

New paintings by Fargo artist Rando exhibit his signature abstraction, bold coloration, curvilinear line, and dynamic energy. A novel concept unfolds Valentine’s Day evening as the Spirit Room hosts a fundraiser where Rando’s “Fargo Romance” works will be available for purchase via the silent auction process.

Rando is a prolific artist whose earlier “Fargo Love” works captured the hearts and imaginations of the art collecting public. His aesthetic evolved as he moved from painting on canvas to creating works by painting on the reverse side of glass panels, a difficult technique that pays great dividends as shape, line, and color combinations constellate into surprising forms that exude synergistic energy.

The “Fargo Romance” collection is upbeat, sensuous, and yes, even sensual, and these qualities match the timbre of the February 14th holiday. Enjoy music, wine, art, and gourmet appetizers, hors d’oeuvres by Juano’s, with a gallery talk by the artist at 8 p.m. All paintings that are not sold the night of the 14th will remain as silent auction items through the end of the exhibition, February 29th.
