From now till the end of February the Spirit Room is hosting art work by a Jamestown native that has a knack for imagery. His name is Will Buchanan, and for small town North Dakota native, he sure has in-depth insights to art and how it reaches the eye. “Peaceful Abiding” is the title of his collective of nine paintings that were designed with symbolism in mind with the use of certain color schemes, shapes, and patterns. As the world inevitably changes, there those who are searching for resources to help us adapt.The two exhibits “Brise Soleil” and “Creating Estonia” are hard proof that it is possible to create architecture that can be both “green,” healthy and efficient. Architectural Master of the early 20th Century, LeCorbusier stated, “It is the mission of modern architecture to concern itself with the sun.
