Club Nintendo launches in the US, Finally

Club Nintendo has officially launched in the US after years of the Japanese getting all the fun, nerdy Nintendo goodies. I’m furiously entering all my registration codes and hoping that any I had registered on the old My Nintendo site are accepted since you didn’t get squat for registering them there anyway.

Okay, once I got a cool set of 7 rainbow colored DS stylii when I registered some DS game. But c’mon, this is Club Nintendo now. Gonna get me that Game & Watch DS cartridge. Or maybe the Hanafuda Cards. Hell, it all looks good and who knows, if all my registration codes are allowed I might be able to choose more than one thing.

UPDATE: Not awesome. Games already registered aren’t accepted again. Shame on you Nintendo of America.

UPDATED UPDATE: Either I’m blind or the site is still a bit wonky (it is, I keep getting kicked out about every 5 minutes), it looks like it knows my previous registrations and you just need to complete the survey portion to get credit. Nintendo of America you do care!
