With all the new flavored Vodka’s out now we have seen some interesting combinations, whipped vodka has been a new favorite when it comes to shots. With the combination of strawberry puree, vodka splash of 7-UP this shot really tastes like a piece of Strawberry Shortcake. $4

Drink: The Lava Lamp

The 70’s are back at the Garage Bar and I could easily stare at this drink all day. The Lava Lamp is a combination of a Jello Shot and Orange Vodka and Soda. The Jello in the drink actually floats up and down, this took a little trial and error to figure out the proper mix needed to make it function correctly according to Frank who was mixing our cocktails that evening. $4

Bar Nine

This was my first time a Bar Nine and I was impressed with the Beer Selection, and the Beer Rail they had built into the bar to keep you beverages cold while you drink. While choosing to stick with the “Pub Theme” the staff decided to go with a Car Bombesque shot. They choose their Dark Side Vanilla Porter and let us drop a shot of Tuaca and Bailey’s. I love interactive shots! $5

Drink: Honey Nut Tea

The Honey Whiskey’s have been a really big hit this year, so the staff decided to run with it. With a mix of Jack Honey, Frangelico, Ginger Ale, & OJ shaken to create a creamy and sweet drink that will be great any day during the summertime, and also pretty good now. $5

The Bowler

The Bowler has a wide selection of the new alchohols out today and we finally got to try Chambords new Vodka. With Hypno Harmonie a very fragrant alchohol and also a new product this drop shot will be a favorite of the ladies. $5

Drink: Cumbersome

Drinking Bloody Mary’s & Ceasars during the contest is a highlight for us, we get a 3 or 4 every contest and they all taste different. The Bowler has a great hand made Ceasar that has been well thought out with the balance of heat, spices and a array of fresh garnish’s including stuffed olives one our favorites. $5

A sophisticated spin off a Ginger Fizz this sweet martini is one of my favorites. Coming up with this drink was not easy because with ginger it can become quite over powering. So if you are a ginger lover like I am you will not regret ordering this drink. $8
