HoDo & VFW Collaborate for Cancer Benefit

Come show your love for your fellow bro this weekend at the Fargo VFW and Hotel Donaldson’s benefit for prostate cancer.
In honor of FeBROary these two establishments are holding concerts and silent auctions all weekend long to raise money for Bros on Broadway’s American Cancer Society foundation efforts.

This Thursday, the 25th, the HoDo will be hosting an evening-long benefit starting at 6pm. Flat Lands and The Front Fenders will be supplying the rhythms. The HoDo will be supplying game tournaments of ring toss, bean bag toss, and crokinole. There will be spectacular amazing prizes for all the winners.

But wait, that’s not all! There will also be a mechanical bull-riding contest and if you’re thinking that all this entertainment will be too exhausting there is no need to worry because you can replenish your energy with the dude food that the hotel will be providing.

Tickets can be bought at http://www.brosonbroadway.com for $25 and trust me it will be worth it when you find yourself basking in the glory of mustaches, beards, burns, and chops.

Did I forget to mention it’s forget-to-shave February? The VFW will be getting in on the feelgood vibes with concerts all weekend long.

Thursday at 9:30 will be Bad Mojo. Friday and Saturday at 9:30 will be Face For Radio. Sunday’s events will start at 3pm. There will be a silent auction and all-day music including Cousin B, Inside Out Strings, Classical Chill, Moody River, Mark Proulx, and Matt Johnson.

Oofda! What a weekend and all for a good cause.

Remember to bring your wallets because all proceeds are going to Bros on Broadway/ American Cancer Society. Don’t just say “I love you bro.” Put your money where your mouth is!
