Getting Down Lo at the Log Jam DVD Release Party

Here’s a heads-up, music fans. Mark your calendars for Thursday April 17 and Friday April 18. Down Lo will return to the Aquarium in Fargo on Thursday and the Crosstown Lounge in Grand Forks for a very special event. They will be celebrating the new Log Jam 2007: The Movie and a preview of this year’s festival in a combination DVD release party and Log Jam Pre-party.

The DVD was an awesome undertaking last year, with five cameras running, including on Hi-Def lens taking in all of the musical goodness. There was professional audio recorders on every stage and, of course, jaw-dropping performances from the bands. Some of the musicians, like Down Lo, will be returning to this year’s festival. The DVD also features interviews with several Log Jam artists, including members of White Iron Band, Trampled by Turtles, Vince Herman, The Big Wu, and more!

The Aquarium and the Crosstown Lounge will have DVDs for sale. And, of course, there will be two nights of great music by Minnesota’s own Down Lo. Things start out at 10 pm. There’s a $5 cover at the Crosstown and $7 cover at the Aquarium.
