July 8 NDMOA Sculpture Garden Tuesday

Knick Knackerson and the Minglers will play at the North Dakota Museum of Art’s sculpture garden on the campus of UND today, July 8 at 6 pm. This Winnipeg band blends roots, rock, and country music. After the successes of their debut live album in 2001 and their album “Brokenhead” in 2003, the Minglers long awaited third album is set be completed in 2008. The North River Ramblers, a local bluegrass group, will open for them.

Tickets are $5 for adults, children 12 and under are admitted free of charge.

Justin Welsh, the Museum’s chef, will be running the barbecue and making root beer floats. In addition, beer and wine will be served. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and claim your place in the sculpture garden. In the event of rain the concert will be held in the Museum’s galleries.
