May 15 What’s Happening GF

The party never stops here in River City. There are a ton of great bands this week at your favorite drinking establishments this week. Grand Forks dynamite cover band, Fire, is back at Charlie Brown’s, and Deliverance returns to the Diamond. Thunder Ridge from Hillsboro will rock the Long Haul and the Southgate Lounge will introduce a new band to the area, Highwire.

Speaking of new talent, if you’re into indie rock/punk, check out the SbS CD Release Party above Gily’s Bar on Saturday. Due for a Verdict will be punching out cuts from their new CD and band friends Inkedindecision, Symbiont, and Trenches of Paris will be helping them celebrate. Show starts at 9 pm.

And a look ahead: Make sure you get tickets for the Corey Stevens, Little Bobby and the Storm show at the Empire at the end of the month. There will be a live DVD shot at the show so get there early to make your mark in music history.
