Save our Soil
To the Editor:
It’s unfortunate that we cannot avert natural disasters such as Grand Forks in 1997 and Northwood in 2007.
But it may be only pure ignorance if we don’t take precise aim at preventing controllable disasters.
I am not a landowner, but only a citizen concerned that while the Keystone Pipeline Project originally had many routing options available, an accessible and adequate water supply is never quite so diverse.
And now Earth Day has quietly come and gone, ringing the bells ceremoniously for all who wish to recognize its significance.
