Shelley Cook: Re: “Taking Chances”

To the Editor:

I just thought that I would send you, the staff and writers of HPR, that I picked up two copies of your publication while I was in Grand Forks last weekend. I must say, your paper is very good!

John Strand’s article “Taking Chances” was a heartfelt look into what it takes to have a successful paper in this media-filled economy that we live in today. (Though I am not a journalist, I am taking creative communications classes at the University of Winnipeg, and I appreciate a good paper when I come across one!!)

I just wanted to tell you guys to keep up the good work, and I will indeed be looking for your paper next time I visit Grand Forks!
