DMF Lend A Hand Thanks Our Generous Community

Thank you to all who committed time, expertise and contributions to raise more than $1.5 million to help 70 Cass and Clay families experiencing a medical crisis.
Dakota Medical Foundation launched Lend A Hand in Feb. 2008, offering resources and matching funds to increase the success of volunteer efforts to help families with substantial medical expenses. Since launching the program two years ago, passionate volunteers have inspired others to give generously. Businesses have donated food, silent auction items and financial resources. The Cullen Children’s Foundation, area churches and other nonprofits have provided donations to expand available funding. Regardless of weather conditions, community members have demonstrated an outpouring of kindness and support by attending fundraising events, volunteering and giving generously to help their friends and neighbors.
Many more families need our help. DMF Lend A Hand encourages and supports the continued leadership of individuals willing to coordinate an effort to help others. Program resources include an online fundraising toolkit, matching funds and online giving options. Donations made to DMF Lend A Hand are tax-deductible and 100 percent is distributed to eligible families.
