Proud to Be From N.D.

To the Editor:

-i have been reading with some interest the neo-cons responses to ms palin’s performance in the vice-presidential debate.  one must consider that she spent the week prior, at least, being tutored in how to respond to the topics.  one might almost anticipate a “polly want a cracker” response.
i suggest that another debate be held with no prior knowledge of topics or questions.  i bet that her performance there would make her claim for diplomatic experience with russia by being able to see the russian offshore islands on a clear day, be genius by comparison.
as to typical north dakota politics, the new “alf landon” in north dakota, duane sand is once again voicing his opinions across the state.  too bad one of his high mucky-muck gop’ers doesn’t give him a real job so that he doesn’t have to bless us with his presence every so many years.
better than minnesota, however, where the candidate badmouthing mr franken has that pained look on his face like he has to go to the bathroom really bad.  he probably does, too, as he is certainly “full of it.”  makes one proud to be from north dakota!
