Vets for Peace
To The Editor:
[This letter is in response to “The Effect of Occupying Wallstreet” editorial published Oct. 6th]
I’m in DC now as a member of Veterans For Peace, which is part of the “October 2011/Stop the Machine effort. For us, this is not a new issue and we have been planning this action for many months. We welcome those others who are awakening to the state of our nation and realizing that our representatives in Washington, including the President, are not the answer.
Please continue to tell people to get off of their butts and join an action here, there, or anywhere.
