Are you Feeling It?

Change - it’s the buzzword of the political scene, but it’s more than that. It’s pervasive - felt on the physical, mental and spiritual planes. Are you feeling tired? Do you have aching muscles, a sore back? Are you considering changing jobs, houses, partners? Are you more aware of your place in the world, and the responsibility the human race has for changing things around? Are you feeling restless, wanting to throw out everything and start over? If so, just know that you aren’t alone. We’ve apparently rounded the corner on this particular phase of our growth, but now’s the brief (usually) respite for integration until we’re onto the next adventure. Advice? As always, let go of anything that no longer serves you. That seems to make things go a little smoother. Personally, I’m feeling it with an intense need for downsizing and even a move. What? We’ve been here almost 23 years - where would we go? To another house? Another city? Another state? I have no idea, I’m just feeling the need for movement. Maybe we will stay, but something’s going to change all right - I just don’t know quite what yet.

I’m personally loving the feeling that everybody’s waking up - to their health, to taking care of their bodies, to the effects we have on the world, to the need to consider others and help them, to plastic bags and bottles and recycling (I bring my own bags to the grocery store, the mall, and even take tupperware to the restaurant for leftovers). It’s not too late, but it IS time, and it’s all up to us, as individuals, to come together, to give a darn, to THINK that you DO count, just one person. I started small, then just kept building consistently, adding what I wanted, dropping what I didn’t want. Sure, it takes a while, but we didn’t get here overnight - we’re not going to get out overnight. But we DO have to move, we DO have to change. All of us, however is best for us. That’s what I know, anyway.
