“It’s Your Karma”: Group Regression Catalyst

Spunky, kind-hearted, intelligent, and effervescent are just a few of the words I would use to describe local author and Certified Past Life Coach, Kathy Dannel Vitcak.  Kathy is the author of “It’s Your Karma Past Life Oracle Deck” and guidebook. 

High Plains Reader: What is “It’s Your Karma Past Life Oracle Deck?” 

Kathy Dannel Vitcak: This deck is a system to allow you to delve into your past lives without having to be regressed. It puts the power back into your hands for finding the past lives that have the most importance to you at this time. Of course, it is a wonderful tool for a Past Life Practitioner to use in conjunction with regression, past life journeys or hypnotherapy. The It’s Your Karma cards were created to help you tap into your intuition, your inner knowledge, and to allow your past life memories to come forward.
HPR: How does it work? How do you use the cards?

Kathy: The deck has 57 round cards, each depicting an important era in history. The images are actual photographs of the places or artwork evocative of that time in history, for instance the British Isles Tudor/Elizabethan Era card has a famous portrait of Queen Elizabeth I. I felt actual images and artwork from the era was a powerful tool to bring the era closer to the reader. Around the outer edges of the card is a list of archetypical roles that would have been lived in that era. For example; male servant, female servant, priest, nun, male royalty, female royalty, etc. There are actually over 1000 possible past life combinations available using this deck!
In a nutshell; you set your intention, select a card, and then interpret the card. But, let’s go into that a bit deeper. Prior to drawing a card, you would set the intention of the reading. For example, “I ask that the past life most important and beneficial for me to learn about today be shown to me.”

Then, to begin a one-card past life exploration, you would select a card by shuffling and drawing a card, spreading out the cards and using a pendulum, or pulling a card that draws you to it.

Then, take that card and toss it on the table in front of you, allowing it to spin as it drops. The role (male servant, female gatherer, etc.) that shows up in the 12 o’clock position would be the past life that is coming through at this time for you.

Then, using the guidebook and your intuition, you would proceed to determine how the past life shown in the card applies to your life today. I also have several free videos to help you learn these techniques available on the website, as well as several free tools available for download, a journal, templates to use for the various readings and more.

HPR: What type of information will someone learn about themselves in a reading from you or with the cards themselves?
Kathy: By digging into your past lives you may come to understand fears and phobias that have no basis in the current life (fear of public speaking, drowning, heights and snakes are common), weight loss or body image issues, relationships problems (why you loathed your new brother-in-law from the minute you met him), abundance issues (release those vows of poverty now!), uncover talents and abilities that were long buried, and so much more.

You can also satisfy curiosities about certain fascinations you may have (that love of all things Victorian, your passion for Ireland, or your desire to know all there is about Ancient Egypt). Virtually anything you have that is lessening THIS life can be addressed in past life work. Of course, we can also explore just to satisfy your curiosity…it can be rewarding and FUN to learn that you really were a scholar in Ancient Egypt!

HPR: What inspired the deck?

Kathy: I literally was sitting outside, beside our lake, reading a book and the idea popped into my head. It was a download, as it came completely…the shape of the cards, the archetypical roles, and more. I know that my guides shared this concept with me to help people have an easy to use, comfortable, and visually beautiful system for digging into their past lives. My vision was that absolutely anyone could begin past life study using this deck and that experienced practitioners would also be able to incorporate it into their practice.
HPR: What led you into doing past life work?
Kathy: Past life exploration has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. Even as a little kid in Mississippi I questioned my Sunday School teachers about past lives and somehow just KNEW that we all reincarnated over and over. Then, as I got older, I read, studied and immersed myself in the study of past lives (and other spiritual modalities). I have studied Karmic Astrology and found it fascinating, I also read and absorbed many wonderful books and programs on past life work.

HPR: How has past life therapy changed your life?

Kathy: It has given me a great peace in absolutely knowing that we are eternal…that there is no pressure to “do” everything this time around. We will never be separated from those we love, our soul groups are also eternal.
