Fargo Park District hosts Kids Triathlon on July 9

The Fargo Park District will host the Kids Triathlon on Wednesday, July 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at Madison Park and Bicycle Playground, located at 3010 11th Avenue N. in Fargo.

Kids 12 and under are invited to bring their own bikes to test their skills by biking, tackling an obstacle course and completing a disc throwing activity. They’ll also create their own medals in the craft area. Training wheels are welcome. Helmets are required for all kids riding in the event.

Boaz Bike Ministry, which fixes, collects and distributes used bikes to families in need, will repair bikes on-site. The group will also loan bicycles to kids who don’t have one, so every child is able to participate.

No pre-registration is required. Find more information at FargoParks.com or call 701-499-6060.
