Prairie Public, the NDSU Libraries’ Germans from Russia Heritage Collection, and the Tri-County Tourism Alliance are celebrating their 10th documentary in the award-winning Germans from Russia series: Women Behind the Plow. This 60-minute documentary was inspired by a book of the same name written by Sue B. Balcom, and tells the compelling story of women who settled the prairie and those who work on farms today.
