Charlie Barber: New Perspectives, ND History

September 23

Our very own columnist and man of letters at the Northern Great Plains History Conference (NDPHC), held at the Radisson. In the morning he’ll be giving a paper entitled “Sarah Vogel and the Progressive Strain in Red State North Dakota: A Family Tradition.” In the afternoon, from 3:30-5:30, at Zandbroz Variety, he’ll be doing a joint “History and Folksong” Session with NDSU’s Tom Isern. Bob Dylan will definitely be featured, among others. You can get further information about the very interesting papers being given at the NDPHC website. ngphconference.org/future-conferences
