The Islamic Society of Fargo-Moorhead is welcoming the community to observe Islamic worship, learn about Islam, meet Muslim community members and sample ethnic food. The event will allow the public to meet their Muslim neighbors and clarify misunderstandings as a way of countering the growing fear and stereotypes about Muslims due to political rhetoric and conflict in the Middle East. The society aims for the event to have an informal, friendly and informative environment.
