Legendary post hardcore band Quicksand plays Fargo, with fellow New Yorkers Pilot to Gunner and local heroes Baltic to Boardwalk and Hevvy Swetter. Quicksand, founded in 1990, is an American post-hardcore band from New York City. Their sound has been compared to fellow post-hardcore bands Fugazi and Helmet.
