Zig Jackson is the first indigenous photographer to win a Guggenheim. Forty analog processed photographs will be on display from January 24-March 1st, the reception is free and open to the public. The MU Gallery is located on the second floor of the Memorial Union on the NDSU campus. Jackson is of Mandan, Hidatsa,and Arikara descent, was raised on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in North Dakota and attended the government Indian boarding school systems.
