Pride Collective and Community Center

FM Pride needs volunteers at all upcoming events. At the Sunday meeting, volunteers will get an overview of the events and an opportunity to sign up for events where help is needed. After the meeting, all attendees will be invited to help raise rainbow-colored flags along Broadway. Wear something comfortable. In the meantime, volunteer forms can be completed at pridecollective.com.

LGBT Film Festival Sneak Peek

Tue, Aug. 11, 7 p.m.

Fargo Theatre, 314 Broadway

FM LGBT Film Festival, which takes place every September, will host a screening of “Gay Best Friend,” a fun-loving comedy that features stars like Natasha Lyonne from “Orange is the New Black.” Free-will donations accepted at the door.

All Ages Bowling

Thu, Aug. 13, 6 to 10 p.m.

All Star Bowl, 309 17th St N, Moorhead

The All Star Bowl is a small but quality bowling facility that has long been a go-to place for FM Pride. Attendees can bowl all night for just $5. The Northsider, the attached bar, will have beer and booze for those of age.

Karaoke & Trivia

Thu, Aug. 13, 9 p.m.

Rhombus Guys Pizza, 606 Main Ave, Fargo

HPR’s 2015 “Best Drag Queen” winner Kelly Coxyn will host this mix of brain games and singing -- sans shame. Yes, LGBTQ trivia and karaoke will be held at one of the finest pizza/beer establishments in Fargo-Moorhead. All ages are welcome till midnight.

Youth Pride Drag Show

Fri, Aug. 14, 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Studio 222, 222 Broadway N, Fargo

This all-ages drag show will feature host Sasha Maria and performers Miss Kitty, Mia Star, Oliver Longtime, Alison Wunderlust and Taylor Sandhofner. Those under 21 get a special discounted price of $5.

Pride Dance Party

Fri, Aug. 14, 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The Aquarium, 226 Broadway, Fargo

This dance-focused event will feature DJ Kelly Morris and DJ Nicholas Joyride Goodroad, a long-time favorite of FM Pride. Kelly Coxyn (FM’s “2015 Best Drag Queen”) and Apollo Dioni (of NYC’s Bad Apple Boylesque) will also perform. This event usually sells out, so be sure to get to The Aquarium early. Attendees must be 21 or older.

Pride 5K

Sat, Aug. 15, 10 a.m.

Woodlawn Park, Moorhead

Run, walk, skip or jump your way to the finish line of this untimed 5K fun run at the disc golf course in Moorhead. All finishers get a custom FM Pride t-shirt and medal. Discounted pre-registration can be completed at fmpride.com. Race day registration costs $45.

Pride in the Park

Sat, Aug. 15, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Island Park, 616 1st Avenue S, Fargo

Socialize, soak up the sun, eat lunch, discover an interesting association or artist and more at Pride in the Park. Dozens of vendors and organizations, local and regional, will set up in Island Park. The event is free to attend.

Pride Block Party

Sat, Aug. 15, 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Usher’s House, 700 1st Ave N, Moorhead

FM Pride’s biggest event features dinner, socializing, dancing and drag. Portland’s DJ Joyride and Minneapolis’s Nina DiAngelo will guide folks through the evening, which will increase in energy as the night progresses.

Interfaith Service

Sun, Aug. 16, noon

Fargo Theatre, 314 Broadway N, Fargo

Folks of all religions and backgrounds are welcome to join in on FM Pride’s free Interfaith Service. Experience spiritual enlightenment through music, poetry and art. The reception starts at noon, service at 12:30 p.m.

Pride Parade and Rally

Sun, Aug. 16, 2 p.m.

Broadway and Fargo Civic Center

It’s Fargo-Moorhead’s most colorful parade and rally, which features fun floats, candy, grooving music and moving speakers.
