There is a big difference between ears and legs

Our English language adds words to dictionaries every year because there are more than 6,000 languages on earth and we do communicate with friends and enemies. We now have more than 600,000 words in the most complete dictionary, the Oxford English Dictionary. This year we added 42 words from other languages as well as words created by new developments in many scientific fields. The dictionary added the Tagalog word gigil (pronounced ghee-gill which some use describe a beautiful baby or a cute golden retriever puppy.

The most complete descriptive phrase added came from an old Irish phrase: “to act the maggot.” A maggot is a creature that survives in dead or decaying matter. This phrase is now being used in English circles to describe someone who is behaving foolishly and is at risk of feeling embarrassed. I think it should be used to describe the actions of Grand Wizard Donald Trump, the leader of the Trumusklican Klan and CEO of the Divided States of America who signs executive orders almost every day so the Grand Dragons in his cabinet can ban American history from our records so we can repeat chaos and wars.

Living in some kind of alternative reality, Trump recently signed an executive order stating there were only two biological sexes: male and female. That’s dumb. Homo sapiens living in the 21st Century, if exposed to siblings, parents, friends, and a modicum of education, know that one in 10 adults in the world identifies as LBGTQ: lesbian-1.4%, Bisexual-5.2%, Gay-2%, Transgender-1.3%, Queer-0.5% and others-0.5%. That’s smart.

Because the earth’s population is now slightly over 8 billion, population experts say that utilizing that total, approximately 100 billion humans have lived and died on earth in the 300,000 years since Homo sapiens evolved. That huge number probably means that 10 billion LBGTQUIA+ folks are buried on earth because of mathematics and genetic science. That’s smart. Cisgender people have been surrounded above and below the earth.

Here's where our anatomy gets interesting (and sexual)

When you tell your sweetheart “I love you from the bottom of my heart,” while you are really thinking about sex, the heart’s only job is to pump blood to the brain so the brain gets oxygen and can prepare the “love” message. Trump’s order states that a person’s sex has to be based on a person’s actual biological sex. That’s dumb and dumber. Sex is determined by what’s between your ears if you have something there, not by what is between your legs.

Humans may be born with both sets of male and female genitalia exposed, or with one set exposed and the other hidden somewhere else or some other combination of XXY or YYX. Intersex people are born with any of several sex characteristics including chromosome patterns, gonads, or genitals that do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies. The last time I checked, genetic scientists had identified 74 gender combinations, including male and female. Here are just a few genders: asexual, demisexual, queerplatonic, transgender, gray-A/gray ace, and non-binary. There are at least 68 more genders.

Southern White Christians have destroyed the history of Jesus Christ by trading their votes for political power. At the same time, they have continued to keep Jim Crow in power throughout the country. With a flood of executive orders, King Donald of the Trumusklican Klan has created the MAGA cult primarily composed of White Nationalists ranging from Nazis to Proud Boys to Jew haters to Holocaust deniers. He has flooded a troubled democracy with executive orders ending federal funding for hospitals that provide gender transition health care, ban transgender girls from competing on female sports teams and ban transgender people from serving in the military.

Meanwhile, the Vatican seems to be in intensive care and Pope Francis contemplates death more than life. It is still studying whether homosexuals are “intrinsically disordered” while bishops in Pope Benedict’s home of Germany threaten to establish their own church because they have accepted the LBGTQUIA* community as faithful members.

The Grand Wizard of the MAGA cult has also announced plans to revoke federal funding from schools that teach “gender ideology.” In that he is a jerk, prick, asshole, sexual predator, defamer of women and men, sociopathic-psychopathic malignant narcissist with no ideology except self-love. He will accept any renegade votes for power. He is a nutcase whose older sister, a retired judge, will not trust him. He has a niece who writes he is the most dangerous man in the world. His latest buddy Elon Musk has all those characteristics with one exception. Musk has said his 20-year-old transgender daughter Vivian is dead. She is alive and hates him.

If you don’t like history, why not sign an executive order and abolish it?

It’s funny how history just lies around waiting to be discovered to add more to your knowledge about a subject. Being an ex-Christian after Southern Christian Evangelicals and Fundamentalists decided to dump Jesus and his beliefs to gain political power, I still am interested in Christian thought. I was reading an article about Christian-Jewish relationships and ran across a couple of paragraphs that added to my knowledge: In 1253, King Henry III explained his position (about Jews): “No Jew should stay in England unless doing service to the king. As soon as a Jew is born, be it male or female, they should serve us in some way.” Henry’s son Edward I expelled all the Jews from England in 1290. The Fair of France followed suit in 1306.

Jews lived in medieval cities, where they were familiar neighbors. This sometimes troubled the agents of the church, who attempted — with only limited success — to erect boundaries between Christians and Jews by marking the latter with badges and limiting their access to some civic functions such as holding public office and participating in guilds. That bit of info had been lying around for more than 800 years before I stashed it in my collection about international treatment of the Jews for thousands of years.

Nothing shocks me about the Grand Wizard of the Klan going through its fourth period of KKK power in the Divided States of America. The Lyin’ King is the oldest living toddler spewing verbal diarrhea, hate, and lies every time his lips move. He is the only man in politics with no redeeming qualities. If one hates history, why not sign an executive order and abolish it?

Goodbye Smithsonian! Goodbye history! Hello dumb, stupid and insane!

The man who has spent about a decade abolishing the truth in American politics is now the country’s Grand Wizard who wants to abolish the country’s history so he can dominate the 24/7 “news” cycle. When I was stationed at Quantico, Virginia in 1954-55 attending Marine Corps Officer’s Candidate School, Corky and I lived in Parkfairfax and Alexandria, just south of the Pentagon. We spent weekends touring memorials, museums, monuments, Arlington Cemetery graveyards and historical places near Washington. We spent many hours at the old Smithsonian (now undergoing rehab), studying our history. James Smithson, a British scientist, supplied the funds and Congress established the Smithsonian Museum in 1846. No doubt it was built with a lot of Black slave labor. Smithson never visited the United States, but his remains are in the old building called The Castle.

In our later RV travels in the east, we often returned to Washington to view new museums such as the Holocaust Museum and the war memorials of Vietnam and other wars. My sister Beatrice served as a congressional secretary for six different Republican and Democratic representatives in her 30 years on Capitol Hill, so she kept us informed — and with tickets to historical sites and new office buildings. She and her husband John lived in Chevy Chase and had a cottage on Chesapeake Bay where we spent many delightful hours.

On March 20, 2025, the Lyin’ King signed an executive order demanding that the 21-museum institution be cleansed of “woke.” The Smithsonian is the world’s biggest museum and education and research complex, housing millions of artifacts of our history, including ships, airplanes and space capsules. Vice President JD Vance has been ordered to “to eliminate improper, divisive, or anti-American ideology, including ridding the institution of ideas that undermine the remarkable achievements of the United States.”

This is not only dumb, dumber, and dumbest, it is beyond stupid. It is insane. Remember the 20,000 books from a German university burned in the middle of a German street? Remember Hitler’s Kristallnacht when 30,000 Jews were arrested and later “disappeared” and dozens of synagogues were burned? Remember when Rosewood, Florida and Black Wall Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma were destroyed?

To the King, CEO, and Grand Wizard: sign executive orders on following...

Here are a few more historical places and people that need to be cleaned up by Grand Titan JD Vance and the Grand Cyclopses in the cabinet because they were built with the “assistance” of many thousands of Black slaves or have familial ties to enslaved people. There are hundreds of historical buildings, parks, monuments, and schools built by Black slave labor before 1861.

The great-great-great granddaughter of Melvina Shields, an enslaved woman on a South Carolina plantation, lived for eight years as First Lady in the White House constructed of limestone and lumber cut by Black slaves. Her name is Michelle Obama, who has the guts of a lion. She absolutely refuses to sit by Donald Trump at official ceremonies involving ex-presidents because of Trump’s treatment of husband and family.

Monticello and the University of Virginia were constructed of bricks and lumber manufactured and cut by black slaves. Thomas Jefferson, our third president, lived the good Virginia life by owning about 600 slaves in his lifetime, fathering six children by his young Black slave Sally Hemings. Sally finally got a room in his house when Monticello was recently remodeled.

Black slaves also built Fort Sumter in South Carolina and the Castillo de San Marcus fort in St. Augustine, Florida, both of which had important roles in the un-Civil War. We have visited them in our RV travels.

In those early days when 20% of the New York City population was enslaved, those slaves helped construct Broadway, the famous Wall Street, the historic St. Francis Tavern and the beautiful Trinity Church.

George Washington University in Washington, D.C., one of the most respected universities in the world, recently made more history by admitting Jesuit-owned plantations in 1838 sold 276 Black slaves to cotton plantations in Louisiana to pay off big debts of the university.

“Trump World is based on a paranoid imagination, an obsession with conspiracy theories, wishful thinking, and the persuasive and constant invention of disinformation and false statements immune to refutation by evidence and reason,” writes Christopher Browning in “Trump, Antisemitism, and Academia.”

That’s why history, in the end, will destroy Trump’s world.
