Winners of the Ignoble Hall of Shame and Hate

By Ed Raymond

We have millions of candidates from 108 Billion people on Earth

With population experts estimating that at least 100 billion Homo sapiens have lived and died on earth, that means we have had millions of blessed and cursed Great Leaders, some real bad dudes and a dominating duchess or two before the 21st Century — and we have thousands since the century after Jesus Christ. I am going to concentrate on three great candidates for the top winner for entrance to the International Ignoble Prize Hall of Shame and Hate. I plan on concentrating on the characteristics and sins of Nero of Rome, Adolf Hitler of Nazi Germany and Donald John Trump of the Divided states of America.

The world has had more than its share of villains. Genghis Khan is said to have killed millions from Mongolia to Europe. We don’t need more details about Vlad the Impaler’s (Dracula!) painful cruelty. Mao Zedong of China with his infamous “Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution” starved millions. Pol Pot of Cambodia committed genocide. King Leo of Belgium brought pain, starvation and death to many in the African Congo. Hirohito and Tojo of Japan decimated parts of China before joining the Axis of Evil in World War II. Now we have Kim-Jong-Un of North Korea who kills his own brothers and imprisons and tortures thousands of his own citizens. Did they all have some kind of virus?

In what was called the Golden Age of Radio, “The Shadow” (1937-1954) was very popular because the main character knew everything about leaders of men. The show opened with these famous lines: “Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows! I’ll be there…around every corner…in every room…as inevitable as your guilty conscience…It is my business to know!”

I wonder if the Shadow would pick the same three candidates. Certainly, evil lurks in all three men!

Nero of Rome lived only thirty years but they were very damning

Nero (37-68 AD) did not have much of a childhood because he inherited the throne from his father Claudius when he was sixteen. Roman historian Tacitus wrote this famous line about Nero: “Nero polluted himself by every lawful or lawless indulgence.”

He accomplished some common good, but he did sully his life by setting a record for using and abusing thousands of people, especially women, by murdering two of his wives and an aunt while sleeping with what he called a Vestal Virgin — and with his own mother, Agrippina— before he murdered her, just for starters. He often took to the streets of Rome at night insulting and assaulting women and girls, practicing sex on boys and sometimes beating, wounding and even murdering others. When he was hosting public games, he would don an animal skin and attack the private parts of men and women tied to stakes.

He was not the first to grab women by their private parts. We know another. We have a president that continued the practice and was pleased and proud of the action.

Other kings and tyrants throughout history have a record of using and abusing women. Our Lyin’ King has been arrested and convicted of sexual assault by raping a woman in a department store dressing room and still owes her $88 million for defaming her. This pussy grabber has also been charged with versions of sexual assault by at least 27 victims of his grabbing. But back to Emperor Nero…

The Romans were led by emperors and senators who dominated the lives of Romans economically, militarily, politically and sexually. If you were a woman captured by Roman Legions, your life was limited to prostitution and rape. Nero and the Caesars tried to regulate sexual behavior by passing marriage laws regulating who could and could not marry. Nero was a sexual mess. He castrated a male slave and then married him in a same-sex marriage deal. He violated two laws by dressing as a woman and marrying a freed man who was a member of a lower class! A man was not supposed to marry a lower-class woman. Are you sick yet?

Nero, who was a good musician, was accused of burning Rome in 64 A.D. and accused of “fiddling while Rome burned.” The charge was, he wanted to build a huge palace for himself in an area, so he cleared it with a fire. He also started to prosecute and persecute Christians — and blame them for starting the fire! In 67 A.D. he competed in the Olympic Games and “won” many events! Because of his behavior as emperor, the people were about to rebel, so the Roman Senate condemned him in 68 A.D. He committed suicide at age 30.

Historians estimate 100 Million people died in World Wars I and II

And my second candidate for the International Hall of Shame and Hate is Adolf Hitler, an artillery officer in World War I and dictator of Germany in World War II. So far, he has been the world’s greatest serial killer, responsible for 60 million of the total death count in World War II.

His National Socialist Party known as the Nazis operated 44,000 death, slave and prison camp sites from 1933 to surrender in 1945. The leading death “camp” was Auschwitz with 1.5 million deaths of Jews, Poles, Roma, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Soviet prisoners, homosexuals and mentally and physically handicapped individuals.

Warehouses at the end of the war contained seven tons of human hair carefully stored in bales for shipment to German manufacturers of carpets and cloth. It was valued at 33 cents a kilo. There might be Germans walking on human hair carpets and wearing sweaters without knowing about the materials. Warehouses also contained 40,000 pairs of shoes, 348,820 men’s suits and 836,515 women’s dresses. They were to be made available for the poor after the Reich victory. The crematorium chimneys that distributed the smell of death across the region had 18 inches of human fat when the fires finally burned out.

Hitler’s “Final Solution” committee decided they would kill the 12 million Jews living in Europe. At war’s end he had killed 6 million Jews and 5 million “others” in his attempt to have a thousand-year Reich made up of Aryan white Christians with a high birth rate.

Dr. Josef Mengele, later known in Auschwitz as “The Angel of Death,” was fascinated by the birth of twins, so he conducted brutal, painful experiments on 1,500 twin sets, mostly children, to determine if strong Aryan German women could have twins from each pregnancy. The 3,000 children were subjected to the following medical procedures: injection of different chemicals, injection of bacteria to determine resistance, amputations of limbs and organs, blood transfusions and injection of dyes into the eyes to change colors. He also followed human genetic research in other countries.

He was also interested in how long a baby would survive without water or food. He selected a pregnant Jew out of the line to the gas chamber. After the birth, Mengele bound her breasts so she could not feed him and observed her and the baby for seven days, watching the baby crying and whimpering. Another doctor, horrified by the experiment, sneaked a morphine syringe to Ruth, the Jewish mother, so she could kill her own child. After she killed it, she was sent to the gas chamber, and Mengele collected the body of the baby for analysis.

Hitler, another malignant narcissist, and abuser of women

To historians: Is there a king or dictator in the history of the world who displayed sympathy and empathy to anybody? Hitler wanted the German people to believe he was married to the country, not to a woman and family.

Eva Braun, 23 years younger than Hitler, played his domestic partner for him, living an isolated life at his Berghof country retreat for over a dozen years. They were married just 40 hours before he shot and killed Eva and then put the barrel in his mouth in his Berlin bunker in 1945.

During his life he had a whole sorority of very young women, like Epstein perhaps, in Munich. He was said to be obsessively attached to a niece who was 19 years younger and lived like a prisoner in an apartment. She committed suicide in 1931. Hitler later said she was the only woman he had “ever truly loved.” This could be downright creepy. Historians who have studied his relationships say he wanted to dominate women and looked for the young who wouldn’t challenge him intellectually or politically. Another Epstein, perhaps?

My third candidate for the Ignoble Hall of Shame and Hate is……

President Donald John Trump will win the Hall in its first year in one of his numerous political landslides and personal human-slimes. Members of his own family insist he is the most dangerous man in the world — and his sister, a federal judge, said he was a serial liar. He is a serial sexual predator who owes one woman he assaulted $88 million for defaming her. He is facing assault charges from at least 27 women, has paid plenty for stormy sex with an “adult” movie star and a number of others in the sex business while his three young trophy wives were pregnant. But that’s enough sex for now.

According to resources, the Trump Organization has been sued 3,500 times for malfeasance in business operations. The second Trump administration has been sued 430 times (so far) for human rights violations by the American Civil Liberties Union. Because of his lack of business acumen, he has been forced to declare bankruptcies six times.

But all of this is small potatoes compared to what he will accomplish if he continues to be the president of the Divided States of America. Because of his policies based on Project 2025 and other political decisions involving immigration, taxes, climate change and healthcare. If he remains in power, he will easily surpass and be responsible for more than the 100 million deaths of World Wars I and II.

When Bill Clinton was running for president, James Carville used the phrase “It’s the economy, stupid!” The central message of the Orange One, Tweeter-in-chief, the Messiah, the Chosen One with his billionaire cabinet and his sickofan staff in the Trump House, the coward, the toddler, the “I’m-the-only-one-who-can-do-it” leader, and the guy who suggested drinking bleach has created the central main theme for his eternal political campaigns: “It’s the stupidity, stupid!”

If his policies and those listed in Project 2025 are approved, wars, world economic inequality, climate change, healthcare and pandemics will kill billions, not millions as in the world wars and destroy Planet Earth. During that ending, the administration will continue to place undocumented Black and Brown pregnant women bleeding from miscarriages on ICE airplanes going to distant poor countries. And we may, as in Hitler Youth days, have young “educated” white boys tossing Black and Brown babies in the air so their buddies can shoot them as filmed by the Gestapo and Waffen SS for the records of the Thousand-Year Reich.
