Survivors of a global catastrophe gather around a campfire and recall an episode of “The Simpsons” in this unusual dark comedy. Decades later, that campfire story gels into a kind of modern myth. This show was nominated for a Drama League Award for Outstanding Production of a Broadway or Off-Broadway Play in 2014 and it’s been confounding audiences ever since.
