To the editor:

I feel very sad for Mrs. Sadek, as no parent should lose their child due to government corruption, whether it be agenda driven military action or narky narks run amok. As a fellow victim of Smilin’ Wayne’s rather unique take on “law” enforcement as facilitated by “confidential informants”, I pray she gets answers, but I fear that unless she gets Federal help- or perhaps Gloria Allred- the culture of abuse created and facilitated by our wannabe new governor will stall, bury, and coerce until she gives up. Not being a ND native, I am often in shock at the apathetic and dismissive attitudes displayed by the majority of Nodaks- and their media! Toward the day-to-day corruption and abuses so smugly and smarm-ily perpetrated and promoted out of Bismarck… and so offhandedly and smugly defended by Smilin’ Wayne and his cronies. Have you people not yet learned that anything the Smiler supports should be examined microscopically? Good God man- he’s on the record as stating that “his” laws are better than the US Constitution (it’s been widely cited, I’m sure you can find the original statement); pardon!? Smilin’ Wayne outranks the highest law in the land!? Where I’m from, we call that pathological egotism, and either impeach or elect someone else. Here? Let’s make him governor! Why even have an election, anyway? My direct personal experience with the everyday Nodak is that, as long as they have the next new gadget to play with while driving, they care not a whit who sits in any office in the state… sad. And there is so much confusion as to how Andrew Sadek was led to his death. Mr. Hennen- read your own article: if being told 40 years in prison or break the law for us isn’t coercive, just wtf is? Keep up the good work, always read you & gadfly, don’t always agree but always think about it!
