The Moorhead Public Library will offer three free, all-ages outdoor concerts featuring regional bands this summer. The series begins on June 12 with the Meat Rabbits, a group that blends traditional polka sounds with modern rock and pop music. The concert will be held outside the Moorhead Public Library (118 Fifth Street S. in Moorhead) from 6 to 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Food will be available for purchase.
The series continues with regional favorite Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome on July 10 and the spirited stylings of the Fargo Spelemannslag Hardanger Fiddlers on August 14. Both shows will run from 6 to 8 p.m. These family-friendly events are offered to the community for free, thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
