Very garage rock, primitive and satisfying. Best-known song: “Breakfast,” with more than 300 thousand YouTube views. Four friends scored a film and worked so well together that they formed NE-HI, Chicago’s favorite new band in the summer of 2014. Young and promising, catchy and unresolved.

Fargodome, 1800 University Drive N, Fargo
Still one of the best acts. Four or five retro styles, flawlessly executed. Maybe the best cover band ever, and that’s a compliment. More than their share of creative stress and disagreement, a quality of the best bands -- 12 members in a 20-year career, never able to keep a drummer for long. Lots of hits to sing along with.
