When an earthquake frees a poltergeist at Dr. Horace Roy’s institution for excessively nervous people, the Ghostchasers are called to clean up the mess. This summer’s art and wine walk series begins Thursday. The event offers the community a chance to wander through downtown Fargo and sample wine while checking out live artists. Wristbands are available for $20 and can be purchased at participating businesses. The series will continue on specific Thursdays each month through September.

Printmaker Amanda Heidt, Make Room’s featured gallery artist for the month of May, will lead a class in creating and designing simple screen prints for t-shirts. Zombies will once again walk the streets of downtown Fargo but it won’t be human flesh they’re craving. Participants are encouraged to dress as the undead with fake blood and costume makeup as they stumble from bar to bar. The crawl begins at Duffy’s Tavern with the location changing every hour. The Rourke Art Gallery Museum
As a celebration of International Print Day, the Rourke Art Museum will feature works from the region’s best printmakers and will offer a free demonstration at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. the day of the event. The event gives the public an opportunity to view and purchase prints from a variety of printmakers, with 30 percent of all proceeds supporting local artists’ emergency needs.
