Prairie Public, the NDSU Libraries' Germans from Russia Heritage Collection, and the Tri-County Tourism Alliance are celebrating their 10th documentary in the award-winning Germans from Russia series: Women Behind the Plow. This 60-minute documentary was inspired by a book of the same name written by Sue B. Balcom, and tells the compelling story of women who settled the prairie and those who work on farms today.

Amanda Nordick is leading outdoor yoga classes each Monday until August 26. Each class is designed for all levels of ability on the Comstock House lawn. A limited number of yoga mats will be available, but it’s encouraged that you bring your own. Classes will be canceled in case of rain or low temps (below 60 degrees).

Stark says, “ceramic material serves as an extension of concepts exploring the fleeting nature of action, layers of internal depth and transience. The work involves multiple reoccurring thematic references including, creation, nostalgia, loss, meditation, anxiety, calm, transcendence, time, identity, and isolation.” Exhibit runs through August 2019.
