Come and join the Plains Art Museum for a conversation with Native American fashion scholar Dr. Jessica Metcalfe. Metcalfe is the owner of Beyond Buckskin which is a website and boutique that is dedicated to promoting and selling Native-American-made fashion. Metcalfe has also co-curated exhibitions and taught college courses on Native American studies, studio art, art history and literature. She is currently focusing on American Indian art, clothing and design from all time periods.
