PBS Kids character Daniel Tiger at the annual Share A Story Family Literacy Event
FARGO, N.D., June 5, 2018
Children and families can enjoy a free event filled with storytelling, activities, STEM experiences and a visit from PBS Kids character Daniel Tiger at the annual Share A Story Family Literacy Event. The FREE family event is Saturday, June 9, 9 am to 2 pm. at Rheault Farm in Fargo, and is hosted by Prairie Public, Fargo Parks, and United Way of Cass-Clay.
Every child can take home a free book, free lunch is provided, the Poco Fuego Steel Drum Band and Buffalo River Dancers will perform, and scientists from NDSU, MSUM, and Concordia will entertain with science experiences. The Red River Zoo, local libraries, and many other community participants will provide activities for the children.
Financial support for the event is provided by Crystal Sugar, and the cities of Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo through an Arts Partnership grant.
