In celebration of the 2018 Scandinavian festival Pieper Bloomquist’s exhibition titled, “Past to Present: Decorative Swedish Folk Art in the Modern Age”opens at the Spirit Room. Grand Forks based Bloomquist is a master dalmalner ie Swedish folk painter. Dalmalgning is known for its illustrative storytelling nature and Bloomquist does just that.
