See this major exhibition firsthand and hear about Rimer Cardillo’s work from the artist himself at 7 p.m. Cardillo is an internationally renowned multidisciplinary artist. “For over five decades, Cardillo’s work has served as a powerful meditation on the interconnected forces of ecological collapse, cultural erasure, and political displacement,” a Plains Art Museum statement about his work reads. “His practice foregrounds the devastating impacts of human activity on biodiversity while revealing how the degradation of natural environments is inextricable from the histories of colonial violence and Indigenous dispossession.” https://plainsart.org/
