Plains Art Museum
In the Plains Art Museum’s parking lot, a wood-fired barrel sauna will host up to six people for each one-hour session. There will be two stations in the changing tent adjacent to the sauna as well as restrooms indoors. Indoors, the Red River Finns will serve coffee and cookies in the reception area where guests can view a display of sauna memorabilia, such as a sauna bucket and brush, sauna thermometers, the artist impression of the old Finnish sauna by E. Tanttu, Finnish winter recreational items such as kicksleds, skiis and more. Admission to the Plains Art Museum, coffee, and cookies with the Red River Finns is free, and everyone is welcome to attend the event. The cost for the sauna experience is $20.00 per person.
