Get crafty at one of the most creative gatherings in the state. Now in its 12th year, this engaging festival is a love letter to the modern craft movement in all its quirky, passionate, inclusive glory. Shop for unique, handmade creations from 70+ artists and makers from across the region, attend free craft sessions on Saturday, enjoy food, drinks and snacks from local vendors or just walk the halls of West Acres and soak up the inspiration. Pretty Ricky will DJ on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and DJ AP will perform Saturday from noon until 4 p.m. Crafters of all skill levels (including kids) are encouraged to attend. Admission to the festival itself is free, but tickets to the Crafty Lounge on Friday (which include a drink ticket for the Local Libations Lounge, Yeobo Sweet Shop cupcake, 2 DIY projects, and other goodies) go on sale from February 18. A complete schedule of events will be revealed online.
