Extincting the disappeared

Will the disappeared ever be able to appear again? Not likely!

In dictionaries more than a decade old, the word “disappear” appears all alone. The definition: “to pass out of sight either suddenly or gradually vanish. To die out, to become extinct.” In the Microsoft Encarta College Dictionary’s recent edition, the word “disappeared’ appears just below “disappear” with this definition: “People who have been arrested by a regime that they opposed and subsequent fate is not known.”

In 1973, a military “junta” led by Dictator Augusto Pinochet of Chile developed 17 torture centers to control an estimated 200,000 people who protested fascist rule. Records are hard to come by in Chile, but between 20,000 to 40,000 citizen exiles had passports marked “L” for “Leftist” so they couldn’t return to Chile. They were essentially “disappeared” from their country by a single letter.

More than 27,000 Chileans were tortured in concentration camps and some records indicate 2,279 were tortured and then executed. Many victims were flown to the Pacific Ocean or large lakes and tossed out of helicopters at 5,000 feet. They “disappeared” from their families. The junta police also used what was called the “Caravan of Death” to fly leftists to remote areas and execute them. Sound familiar?

This is how and where the term “disappeared” eventually got into modern dictionaries. The torture centers featured beatings, electric shocks, rapes, sexual assaults and other methods. The purpose? To install fear and terror in the populace to suppress political dissidence.

The military dictators of Argentina employed the same tactics to frighten their opposition during a period known as the “The Dirty War” between 1976 and 1983. Very few records were kept, but an estimated 10,000 to 30,000 citizens were kidnapped, tortured, with many murdered. The Argentine Navy School of Mechanics was the most notorious detention center where many protesters “disappeared” on three-hour flights to the Atlantic Ocean or Rio de la Plata in planes called Skyvans PA-51 built by the British. The planes had large rear cargo doors. The flights were used to get rid of bodies as well as tossing live but drugged prisoners out via the cargo doors at 10,000 feet. A violent storm once washed up six bodies that were a mass of broken bones from falling from that height.

The Lyin’ King plans to “disappear” democracy and people

Memorial Day was named to honor Americans of any color or gender who died while serving in the Armed Forces of the United States. The following is the Truth Social message Trump used to recognize dead veterans: “Happy Memorial Day to all, including the scum that spent the last four years trying to destroy our country through warped radical left minds who allowed 21,000,000 people to illegally enter our country many of the(m) being criminals and the mentally insane, through an open border that only an incompetent president would approve, and through judges who are on a mission to keep murderers, drug dealers, rapists, gang members, and released prisoners from all over the world. In our country so they can rob, murder, and rape again, protected by these USA hating judges who suffer from an ideology that is sick, and very dangerous for our country. Hopefully the United States Supreme Court and other good and compassionate judges throughout the land, will save us from the decisions of the monsters who want our country to go to hell.”

Examine and diagnose his message. Remember when he called dead combat veterans “suckers” and “losers” while holding his “beautiful” hair staring at crosses in a Normandy beach cemetery? Remember when he said Senator John McCain was not a hero for spending five years in a North Vietnam prison because he had been captured? This Memorial Day message is a scrum of babbling drivel vomited by a person suffering from numerous character and mental deficiencies listed by psychologists, psychiatrists and his immediate family. If you examine the characteristics of a jerk, prick, asshole, malignant narcissist and socio-psychopath described by psychologists and psychiatrists, please select one of these characteristics Donald John Trump does not possess and e-mail it to me.

Empathy, the human capacity that enables Homo sapiens to see suffering and then have us respond with compassion and reason, is a valuable characteristic to possess. Did Trump feel compassion for the soldiers buried under those white crosses? No, he saw suckers and losers. Researchers in the field of neuroscience can now check whether a person “resonates” with others and connects with the emotional and cognitive parts of the brain. It shows up on the MRI. We flinch and shake our heads if we see suffering. That’s emotional empathy. After examining Trump’s 30,000 lies during his first term, 27 psychiatrists and psychologists determined “The Chosen One” was not only consumed by narcissism, his self-love is “malignant.”

The standard definition: “Malignant narcissism is a severe personality disorder characterized by a combination of narcissistic personality disorder traits, antisocial behavior, paranoia, and sadism. It is a particularly destructive form of narcissism. Individuals with malignant narcissism exhibit a grandiose sense of self, a lack of empathy, and a tendency to exploit and manipulate others for their own gain. They may also display aggression, paranoia, and a propensity for sadism.”

It was fascinating to watch two narcissistic billionaires, Elon Musk and one “saved by God,” battle every second to see who would have the most to “gain” from their every encounter. Craig Spencer of The New York Timeswrites: “America’s leaders are increasingly casting aside empathy and compassionate care as dangerous liabilities. Elon Musk has called empathy ‘the fundamental weakness of Western civilization,’ and the Trump administration governs as if that is a guiding principle. The belief that we have a responsibility to others isn’t shortsighted sentimentalism; it’s the moral foundation of a meaningful life. Caring for others is a moral obligation, not a partisan position. If we allow the Trump administration’s assault on empathy to define our global health agenda, or ourselves, we just will not be turning away from the world — we will be turning away from who we are.”

Trump: “I am a genius and only I can do it!” This is how he does it

The Little League Baseball World Series for players 13-16 is held each summer in Easley, South Carolina. This year, the team from Venezuela won the Latin American championship held in Mexico and won a spot in the World Series.

The Divided States of America does not have an embassy in Venezuela since our troubles years ago, so the Venezuela team traveled to Bogota, Columbia to our embassy to apply for travel visas to the DSA. Venezuela happens to be on the restricted travel list of the Trump White House, so the team was denied visas. The team responded to the world: “It is a mockery on part of Little League to keep us here in Bogota with the hope that our children can fulfill their dreams of participating in a world championship. What do we do with so much injustice, what do we do with so much pain that was caused to our children?”

Yes, how cruel, how sadistic, how paranoic, how stupid is it to deny visas to kids when granting them just might improve relationships between the two countries? Can Trump be proud of “disappearing” a Little League baseball team? Whatever happened to empathy? Trump never had it so is he going to “disappear” it too?

Civic-us is a group of global civil society nonprofit organizations that has placed the Divided States of America on its watchlist for three “sustained attacks on civic freedoms” including deployment of military to quell protests in California and other states, growing restrictions on journalism and civil society, and aggressive targeting of anti-war advocates surrounding Palestine. They say the Trump administration and the Trumplicans are acting like Turkey, Serbia, El Salvador, Indonesia, and Kenya. That’s not good company.

The summary of the report: “The United States appears to be sliding deeper into the quicksands of authoritarianism. Peaceful protests are confronted with military force, critics are treated as criminals, journalists are targeted, and support for civil society and international cooperation has been cut back. Six months into Donald Trump’s second term, a bizarre assault on fundamental freedoms and constitutional safeguards has become the new normal.” As in Orwell’s “1984,” the White House has turned into the Ministry of Lies and Fake History.

The Trump administration is forcing women to move to other states, or to travel to other states, or killing them because of inadequate medical prenatal and postnatal care. Tennessee’s laws such as the Medical Ethics Defense Act allow specialists to deny care because of “Christian values.” This law allows medical providers of all types to refuse care based on moral or religious beliefs. A Tennessee woman was denied prenatal care by a “Christian” doctor because she is unmarried. Would Jesus Christ have denied her care? Why have Southern Trumplicans “deChristianized” Christians? The woman had to travel to a Democratic state to get proper care. You get one guess why Tennessee has the Divided States of America highest maternal mortality rate, “disappearing” many women.

Donald Trump, acting like the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the United States Development Equity Corporation also known as The Trump Organization instead of President of the Divided States of America, constantly states that he has many “evil enemies” in MAGA Trumpistan. In my lifetime-so far-I have been “served” by 15 presidents and one CEO: Trump.

I’m using the term “served” in a relative sense. Presidents have served me both blessings and crap, but overall, the blessings have dominated my life. Generally, I must say, presidents of both parties bestowed both blessings and crap on me, sufficient enough to keep me from taking up whips or canes against them. But now we have a CEO, not a president, who hates me because I’m a Democratic Socialist at the moment. I am the “enemy within.” He calls me “evil.” He uses the word “evil” because it is associated with some kind of religion. Trying to make people believe he has read the Bible, he carries one when pretending he is a moral person. Being “evil” is a religious “sin.”

CEO Trump did not send Pentagon representatives to the Aspen Security Forum attended by national security experts from many nations because ‘globalism is evil.”

Our CEO uses the word “lunatic” a lot. This act defines it. At one of his numerous bloviating babbling meetings in the Oval Office, he called Democrats “an evil group of people” when asked a question by a “very evil reporter” from The New York Times. He accuses 21 million undocumented illegals of “evil” crimes committed on the orders of the “evil” deep state.Of course, he will “disappear” them by flying them to poor countries over water to prisons, jails, and concentration camps in planes costing $27,000 an hour.

Almost a century ago, FDR formed the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) to help save the country. Today we have a maniacal CEO destroying a country utilizing his CCC program — Cruelty, Corruption, and Incompetence.
