If you hope for nothing more than to relax at the end of a long workday with one of Minnesota’s best beers, look no further. Indeed Brewing Company has blessed us with their presence.

Indeed Brewing was founded in 2011 by friends Thomas Whisenand, Rachel Anderson and Nathan Berndt, and it is located in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis. Indeed began its journey west at the Fargo Beer Festival, and began distribution in North Dakota Oct. 1. Beginning Nov. 2, Indeed Brewing Company will commence distribution to the western half of Minnesota. You can look forward to year-round favorites like the Dandy Lager, Pale Lager, Midnight Ryder Black IPA and Day Tripper Pale Ale. They will also be bringing some of their superior seasonal beers along, including but not limited to the Yamma Jamma Harvest Ale, Let It Roll IPA and Barrel-aged Rum King. If you are a fan of the ever-potent barrel-aged imperial stouts, The Rum King does not disappoint.

I have had the opportunity to visit Indeed Brewery as well as enjoy many of its beers, never having had a bad experience with any of them. For one I am more than excited to be able to run to my local liquor store and grab a six-pack of Midnight Ryder and binge watch Bob’s Burgers, but let’s not get into that now. Another thing about Indeed Brewing that I really took to was the artwork in the brewery and the upbeat vibe I got from each and every one of its employees. That kind of artwork and positivity flows right into the essence of the beer, as well as the design on the cans containing it.

If you find yourself in Minneapolis stop by Indeed Brewing’s taproom -- you will not be disappointed. This is a one-of-a-kind taproom that will keep you coming back time and time again.

Co-owner and president of Indeed, Nathan Berndt, native to Grand Forks, N.D., is more than excited to sit down in his hometown and drink one of his own hand-crafted brews. “North Dakota is a state where we want to sell beer, not where we have to.” This was a quote from Indeed’s website. I am sure the fine people of North Dakota are happy to hear how excited Indeed Brewing is about coming to their state.

This is a very exciting addition to the craft beers being sold in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Indeed Brewing has proven to be a hit in the Twin Cities and I can only imagine the impact it will have on people here. I promise you that you are all in for a treat!

The availability of craft beer in the Fargo-Moorhead has been booming for quite some time and it does not seem to be giving up anytime soon. I look forward to the next big brewery that graces our presence, bringing new and exciting beer to this neck of the woods.
