​Fifteen Second Film Festival

For the first time, The Guild will be hosting a film festival made up of 15-second films submitted by community members. The festival features a variety of categories, including funny bone, jeepers creepers and documentary. The entrance fee is $3 and beverages and popcorn will be available. Chicago punk trio Meat Wave will swing by Hawks Nest to play a show before making their way to the West Coast. The band has received praise following their debut album “Delusion Moon,” released last year, including a five-star review in The Guardian. The Minneapolis punk trio, who were inspirational behind the feminist riot grrrl movement, will play Fargo for the first time since reuniting in 2015. The band formed in 1987 and released three albums in the ’90s before playing their last show in 2001. New York City band Ageist featuring Moorhead native Eric Odness and the Hold Steady's Bobby Drake will open for them.
