For the first time, The Guild will be hosting a film festival made up of 15-second films submitted by community members. The festival features a variety of categories, including funny bone, jeepers creepers and documentary. The entrance fee is $3 and beverages and popcorn will be available. The second annual Wine About Winter welcomes community members to celebrate Valentine’s Day early. Wine About Winter will be an evening filled with shopping, wine sampling and sweet treats from local bakeries, restaurants and cafes. Chicago punk trio Meat Wave will swing by Hawks Nest to play a show before making their way to the West Coast. The band has received praise following their debut album “Delusion Moon,” released last year, including a five-star review in The Guardian.
