The Sidestreet will be hosting a Halloween party while also celebrating their last night at their old location inside of the Howard Johnson Inn. The event will include costumes, prizes and live music provided by the Pat Lenertz Band and The Vistas.

The Fargo Theatre, 314 Broadway, Fargo
The annual screening of this cult classic returns to Fargo in time for the film’s 40th anniversary. A costume contest will be held prior to the show for those sporting sequin top hats, French maid uniforms and, of course, fishnet stockings. The theatre will be selling participation bags for those unsure of what to bring.

Tod Browning’s 1927 silent horror film “The Unknown” sees Lon Chaney playing Alonzo the Armless, a fugitive disguised as an armless knife thrower at a circus. His disfigurement brings him closer to the ringmaster’s daughter Nanon, played by Joan Crawford. When competition for Nanon arises, Alonzo will do whatever it takes to win.

After outgrowing their usual space at the Howard Johnson Inn, the Fargo Record Fair has now moved onto the Fargo Brewing Company where they promise more vendors and more records at a location that’s welcome to all ages.

Level 2 Comedy Club will see Grand Forks based comedian Spencer Dobson returning to Fargo and opening for Detroit comedian Mike Stanley. The comedians will perform once at 7 p.m. and a second time at 9:30 p.m. on both dates.

The event features live performances by the Fargo Theatre Big Band All-stars and Singers, directed by Dr. David Ferriera. The event will also show the 1926 film “Sparrows,” which finds Mary Pickford starring as the eldest child at a baby farm in an alligator-filled swamp.
