Area children ages 10 and over are invited to join the Fargo-Moorhead Science Museum to explore how rivers work at two Fargo Public Library locations this summer. Stream Table Workshops will be held at the Northport Library (2714 Broadway N.) on Saturday, July 26 and at the Dr. James Carlson Library (2801 32nd Ave. S.) on Monday, August 4. Both events take place at 11 a.m.
The workshops feature a mobile EmRiver Stream Table, so students can see and feel geomorphology in action and learn how rivers shape the landscape. All materials are provided and the events are free. Space is limited, so pre-registration is required. Register online at fargolibrary.org or contact Cindy M. at 701-241-1495.
